At Animal Hospital of Palo Alto, we rely on advanced diagnostic tools to ensure the best possible care for your pet.
In-House Laboratory
We’re equipped with an in-house laboratory, allowing us to quickly and accurately diagnose your pet’s health issues.
Ultrasound
Our advanced ultrasound imaging technique is a non-invasive, painless way to get a detailed look at your pet’s internal organs using sound waves. With this technique, a computer-generated image is generated, allowing us to accurately evaluate your pet’s internal structure, identify any abnormalities or lesions, and diagnose potential health issues.
X-Rays/Radiographs
X-rays, also known as radiographs, are a widely used and highly effective diagnostic tool in veterinary medicine, as they provide immediate and clear images of your pet’s bones and internal organs. These images can be manipulated to provide a more detailed view, leading to faster and more accurate diagnoses. If your pet requires specialized care, we work closely with a network of exceptional specialty veterinarians, including dermatologists, dentists, surgeons, ophthalmologists, cardiologists, oncologists, neurologists, and internists.
Our team of skilled and experienced veterinarians offers a range of surgical procedures to help keep your pet healthy and happy. From spays and neuters to mass removals, ear hematomas, wound and abscess repairs, and more, we’re equipped to handle a variety of surgeries. We do recommend scheduling procedures in advance, though we understand that emergencies can arise, and are happy to accommodate patients in need whenever possible!

Our experienced staff uses only high-quality, pet-friendly shampoos and conditioners to ensure that your pet's coat is clean, healthy, and shiny.
